How To Add A Handling Fee In Shopify - No Code Required

Adding a handling fee in Shopify is easy to do! It's just a little hard to find.

To add a handling fee in Shopify:

1. Go to Shopify admin and then navigate to Settings > Shipping and Delivery
2. Click Manage Rates in the shipping section
3. Scroll down to a shipping rate, click the three dots then click Edit rate. Or add a click Add Rate.
4. On the bottom of the edit popup, you will see a handling fee section. You can set it to a percentage or a flat amount

If you don't use carrier rates, it's easiest just to include your handling cost into your shipping rate. You can name it "Shipping & Handling" if you want to be transparent with your customers.
